Other opportunities for current members include announcing your writing news or services in the WW Dispatch, our weekly announcements, or submitting an informative piece to our newsletter (Email the office for more information at wilwrite[at]willamettewriters[dot]org).

Our Kay Snow Writing Contest and FiLMLaB short screenplay competition accepts entries through the first part of the year.

Pitch your book to an agent or publisher at our conference.

Have a Young Writer?

Young Willamette Writers is a group for aspiring writers between the ages of 13 and 18. Each month, authors and writing teachers lead the young writers through creative exercises and discussion. The focus is creativity, writing, and fun!

Volunteer

Willamette Writers is actively seeking volunteers for our board committees, social media, outreach, literary journal, conference and events. Volunteering is a rewarding way to learn, network, and re-invigorate the experience of writing. Email wilwrite[at]willamettewriters[dot]org.
