Hybrid Eugene: Critique Groups with J.C. Geiger
October 11, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Willamette Writers Eugene Presents
Critique Groups, Reimagined with J.C. Geiger
Online and In-person
A critique group can be the emotional and professional cornerstone of a writer’s life. But how do you get it right? Does academia have it figured out – or is there a secret key to unlock the magic tonic that makes the collective’s work leap to the next level and turns the room into a perfect jam session? J.C. Geiger will draw from experience with the University of Iowa Writers’ Workshop and others to share specific techniques that build community, and the spirit-crushing pitfalls to avoid. You’ll also have opportunities to meet other writers seeking critique groups — we’ll help you get started! Join us for this interactive hybrid meeting (both online and in-person!). Zoom and location details below.
