Willamette Writers on the River in Corvallis and our Southern Oregon Chapter Presents Rick Lamplugh – Crafting the Wildlife Essay

Rick Lamplugh writes, speaks, and photographs to protect wildlife and preserve wild lands. In this Zoom presentation on Monday, May 23 at 6:30 PM, he will use words, photos, and music to describe his path to writing essays to protect wildlife. He will discuss different formats including the traditional essay, essays inspired by single photos, and essays with paragraphs serving as captions for several photos. He will share the tools he uses to make the reader feel they are standing beside him, using all the senses, and sharing emotional truth, thoughts, and feelings.
