Online: Kickstarter with Russell Nohelty

February 28, 2022 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Corvallis and Coast Chapters present Russell Nohelty – Fund Your Book with Kickstarter

Kickstarter is a cruel mistress. On one hand, it’s given creatives the ability to launch products directly to their audience. On the other, the competition is fierce, and launching a successful project gets harder each and every day. Even worse, every minute you waste is a minute you fall further behind your peers. Luckily, there’s a ton of information on how to succeed on Kickstarter.

Join USA Today bestselling Author Russell Nohelty, who has raised over $180,000 for publishing projects on Kickstarter, as he goes through the ins and outs on how to crush it on Kickstarter.

About Russell Nohelty

Russell Nohelty is a USA Today bestselling author, publisher, and editor. He runs the small press Wannabe Press, which makes weird books and comics for weird people.
He’s run 18 successful crowdfunding campaigns, raising over $250,000 to date, including six campaigns that raised over $20,000 each, and two that raised over $30,000.
He’s also written several
graphic novels, novels, and children’s books which all can be found on his site, www.russellnohelty.com.

For the last several years, Russell has cataloged and documented his own journey to build a creative business. He interviewed hundreds of other successful creators and dissected their stories to find out how they built and sustained their careers. He compiled all the lessons, successes, and failures he learned into the books How to Build Your Creative Career, a practical guide to building a sustainable business as a creative, and How to Become a Successful Author, a focused compendium of everything Russell has learned becoming a six-figure author.
