Linda Stirling Publishing options

A Box of Chocolates – How to Wisely Pick Your Flavor of Publishing – Linda Stirling

Your Valentine’s Day chocolates all looked yummy, but unless they were labeled (or you used the trick Linda’s kid sister employed of sticking a fingernail in the bottom of each one to find her favorites) you won’t know which you’ll favor. Publishing in 2022 offers as many choices as that box of chocolates, and what suits one person may not be to your taste at all. On top of that, pandemic and supply chain issues have further complicated the industry. So how is one to choose? What if, figuratively, you could see publishing before they dipped it in chocolate? Join us for a closer look at publishing options absent any candy-coating, along with considerations to help you decide which path–from traditional to self to hybrid–may be best for you.

About Linda Stirling

Linda Stirling’s heart is in helping every writer she works with achieve his or her dreams, whether that’s through publishing their work through The Publishing Circle or teaching them to self-publish through The Publishing Authority. Her coaching helped multi-award-winning author David Crow, author of the international bestseller The Pale-Faced Lie, reach sales of just under $30,000 per month with his book. She helped author Lorena Angell take her series to an average of 60 sales per day from its previous 6 per day; sell her work in 47 countries, and rank alongside authors such as Stephen King, and George R.R. Martin of Game of Thrones success. Stirling also got the series optioned for film and television.
With over 40 years of experience as a writer, teacher, and publisher, Stirling’s background includes managing major metropolitan newspapers and magazines, running three publishing companies, and raising millions of dollars in sponsorships. She is the internationally bestselling author of 55 books, sold both under her name and pseudonyms. To connect with her, go to <www.ThePublishingCircle.com> or email her at Linda at ThePublishingCircle dot com.
