How to: Publishing is a casual class hosted by Ooligan Press teaching underrepresented authors about publishing so that they can begin their writing careers on the right foot! The publishing industry has a long history of problems with author diversity and this class is Ooligan Press’ way of showing that we stand to create equity and opportunity in our industry. In this workshop-style class, graduate students from Portland State University will teach authors about query letters, proposals, pitches, and self-promotion.
