Online: Write Crime with Kim Fielding
March 21 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
The Right Way to Write Crime with Kim Fielding
Sooner or later, many of our characters are going to come in contact with the criminal justice system. Get a crash course on the U.S. criminal justice system with special emphasis on subjects authors often get wrong — or need to take special care with. Leave with a better idea of how to get your characters into and out of trouble, while finding a few juicy plot bunnies along the way.
Join us via Zoom on Monday, March 21, 2022, at 6:30 to get the dirt on writing crime for all genres.

About Kim Fielding
Winner of the 2021 BookLife Prize for Fiction, Kim Fielding is the bestselling author of over sixty novels and novellas. Like Kim herself, her work is eclectic, spanning genres such as science fiction, fantasy, paranormal, romance, and horror. Having migrated back and forth across the western two-thirds of the United States, Kim calls California home. She lives there with her family, her cat, and her day job as a criminal justice professor, but escapes as often as possible via car, train, plane, or boat. This may explain why her characters often seem to be in transit as well. She dreams of traveling and writing full-time.
About your chapter
Willamette Writers meetings are open to all writers, 18 and up. Young writers are encouraged to join our Young Willamette Writers meetings. Guests are welcome to make a donation to help support the cost of the meeting (we believe in paying our speakers for their time and skills). This meeting is run by volunteers. We look forward to seeing you there!
