September 17 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Eugene Chapter Header

It’s A Back to School Classic! One Page Essay Writing and Social

How was your summer? Come join us for an old school throwback-retro snacks and a generative writing session for a one page handwritten piece about what you did this summer-just like when you were in elementary school. Wide ruled paper, pencils and construction paper at the ready if you feel like doing it in style. Fancy writing skills not necessary. Share with the group or your neighbor or not at all, just enjoy being in community with fellow writers and getting to know one another. There will be plenty of time built in for connecting with fellow writers and writing quietly in community. We’ll be meeting in the downtown branch of the Eugene Public Library on Tuesday, September 17th at 6:00 PM. We can’t wait to hear about all the fun things you’ve done over the summer!
