Salem: Behind the Curtain with 45th Parallel Playwrights

May 6, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Willamette Writers Salem Chapter

Behind the Curtain: Playwriting with the 45th Parallel Playwrights

Have you ever wanted to see behind the curtain? Wondered how to get your play produced or process feedback from critiques? Join the Salem Willamette Writers chapter as we meet with the 45th Parallel Playwrights.

45th Parallel Playwrights will explore how they help each other through critique and feedback. Then, we will listen to three short works and participate in a brief critique discussion. Those works will be “The Nature of Everything” by Richard Poudrier, “Over the Brink” by James Kemp, and “Another Henry” by Lynn Millar.

45th Parallel Playwrights began four years ago. Some of us were seasoned writers, directors, actors and some of us were beginners. We’ve all gotten better through the way we work.

This event is free and open to the public. Please join us! We will meet in Anderson Room A at the Salem Public Library from 10 am to noon on Saturday, May 6th.
