About his novel, The Home

In 1956, an introverted 13-year old boy enters a children’s institution and experiences the social demands of dormitory life, first encounters with the opposite sex, and the conflicts of group loyalty and self preservation. Exposure to violence and preteen sexuality is balanced with humor and musical nostalgia.
