2015 is Willamette Writers 50th Anniversary! Members and non members are invited to our Open House on Saturday, April 25th, 2015 from 1-5pm. Tour the beautiful Writing House and its private writing rooms, normally reserved for Willamette Members for writing sprees and retreats.

Come enjoy the 50th Anniversary cake, snacks and champagne (or the bubbly Willamette Valley equivalent). Toast Willamette Writers and meet some of your fellow members. Board and staff will be on hand to talk about our programs. Hear about new special gala and programming planned for our annual three-day writers conference the first weekend of August in Portland, Or.

We’ll also be offering a special opportunity for anyone who would like to join Willamette Writers for its next 50 years. Join with a lifetime membership of $500. The first fifty new lifetime members will receive a complimentary ticket to the Willamette Writers 50th Anniversary Gala on August 8th during our writers conference.

The Open House will take place at the Willamette Writers Writing House, located near beautiful Mary S. Young State Park twelve miles south of downtown Portland. Directions to the house.
