It’s that time of year again! Submit your Valentine’s Day inspired story to our Six Word Story Contest. The top five stories will be announced at the Portland member meeting on February 3rd at The Old Church. We’ll be tweeting one winner per day from February 10th – 14th. The Grand Prize winner will receive a fabulous gift basket from local businesses and be tweeted on Valentine’s Day!

Rules and Guidelines:

  • Simple. Write a six word story. Since this is in celebration of Valentine’s Day, we’re expecting something to do with love, hearts, wedding rings…or guns.
  • $5 per entry, $15 for three entries or $20 for five entries.
  • In your submission, include your story, your name, email address (or a good phone number to reach you at), and Twitter name (if you have one).
  • Judging done by the Willamette Writers Board – all entries will be anonymous when judged.
  • Board members are not eligible, but friends and family of board members are.
  • Submissions must be paid for and to the Willamette Writers Office by January 26, 2015 at midnight.
