The WW Dispatch email newsletter goes out weekly and includes news about our members’ writing and literary events. We reach over 5,000 subscribers in total.
Current members receive one free book or writing event announcement per quarter in the WW Dispatch. We post announcements about free local critique groups with openings and local events whenever we have space at no charge (See below for guidelines for paid events such as workshops).
Please fill out and submit the form below or open the form in a new window/tab by clicking here (it’s the same form).
Additional professional writing-related announcements can be posted in the WW Dispatch for a fee:
Paid Announcements
Members can run professional writing-related announcements for paid events (like workshops) in the Dispatch for $25. We run ads as space permits. If you’re not sure whether your submission meets our guidelines, please contact us.
Non-member guests can run writing and publishing-related announcements and ads for $100 if they are relevant to our membership. (Or become a Willamette Writers member for $57/year and receive the $25 ad price!).
Please read and follow the guidelines before paying and submitting.
Guidelines
Unfortunately, we don’t have staff to edit submissions that don’t meet the submission guidelines. If the announcement is:
- longer than 100 words,
- not related to a writing or publishing topic,
- not relevant to our membership, or
- requires payment that is not made, it won’t be considered.
We schedule announcements several weeks in advance and cannot guarantee to run announcements on the date requested. If your event has less lead time, please contact us to let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
We reserve the right to refuse ads that conflict with WW programming, do not reflect our mission, may be considered inappropriate, or for any other reason. Choosing to run an ad is up to our discretion.
