Member News: Patricia L. Brooks Participates On Panels at Tucson Festival

Willamette Writers Member, Patricia L. Brooks, an Award-Winning Author, Publishing Consultant and President/Founder of the Scottsdale Society of Women Writers will be speaking on two marketing/public relations panels on Sunday March 12th at the Tucson Festival of Books, University of Arizona Campus.

She will also have a booth at the festival for both days, the 11th and the 12th featuring her two memoirs Gifts of Sisterhood – journey from grief to gratitude and Three Husbands and a Thousand Boyfriends as well as a book signing in the University Bookstore after the panels.

She will be joined for both events by: Jared Kuritz, Director of the La Jolla Writers Conference and Jeniffer Thompson of  Consultant for Branding and Book Strategies.

These events will be held in the Ventana Room, in the Student Union:

    Ideas abound for marketing your masterpiece. We have a list of ideas you can begin implementing right away.
  2. 4:00-5:00 p.m. How to Boost Book Sales with Social Media
    The list of social media platforms is extensive.  You will learn which ones best connect you with readers to sell your books.

The festival will be held Sat. the 11th and Sun. the 12th of March, from 9:30 – 5:30 p.m., and located across the campus off University Blvd. There is no charge, and 100,000 attendees are expected. This annual event offers a wide variety of speakers, authors, workshops, panels, food and entertainment.
