Jim Mockford’s article “Serving Like Seth: Remembering a Meals on Wheels Service Hero Seth Young (1922-2018)” was published in Meals on Wheels People News last week, a print only (no digital) newsletter and mailed to 12,000 donors in our area.

The idea began when my company, Wacom Technology Corp., selected Meals on Wheels as our charity this year and in response to the increased demand for meals (up 300% in March 2020) and I reflected on how one of their volunteers, Seth Young, brought meals to my father in his 90s before he passed away a few years ago.

The story about Seth followed and MOW ran the story in their June 2020 newsletter. It seemed like a good time to write for a charity first before completing review of proof copies of my forthcoming children’s book, The Kite That Touched the Sky.
