In the December 15th Issue of Kirkus Reviews, Mike Weedall’s book, Iva: The True Story of Tokyo Rose, documenting the story of Iva Toguri was named one of the top Indie reads of the year. Written as historical fiction, the story of this courageous woman has been getting national attention. Recently, the Ninth Circuit Court Historical Society hosted an online seminar where close to 500 heard from Weedall about the tragic story of Toguri and the injustice served upon her.

Fully based on actual events experienced by Iva Toguri, the recognition by Kirkus is the latest in a series of positive reviews including from the Mid-West Book Review.
