CASCADIA has won the 2018 EPIC (Electronic Publishing Industry Coalition) eBook Award in the suspense/thriller category. This makes novelist H. W. “Buzz” Bernard a three-time “Eppie” winner.  His previous two awards were for PLAGUE and SUPERCELL.

CASCADIA is set against the the threat posed by the Cascadia Subduction Zone and takes place largely in Manzanita, Oregon.

Buzz has just completed his sixth novel, FIREWIND, an historical thriller with a backdrop of the legendary 1933 Tillamook forest fire that incinerated much of northwest Oregon’s Coast Range.
