Willamette Writers board member John Clark Vincent was featured along with his wife, Lisa Holmes, in the latest issue of the Sellwood Bee newspaper.

The fact that both Vincent and Holmes have recently published books on subjects of interest to many Oregonians caught the attention of a local reporter.

Vincent’s book, Planting a Future: Profiles from Oregon’s New Farm Movement, focuses on Oregon’s sustainable farming movement, while Holmes captures the beauty of the region in her highly visual hiking book, I Heart Oregon (& Washington): 25 of the Portland Area’s Best Hikes.

Both books were self-published through the couple’s marketing communications firm, Yulan Studio. Vincent’s book is currently being serialized on the Mother Earth News website.
