It’s Thanksgiving, and we want to let you know how thankful we are that you are a part of our community.
For fifty years, we have met over coffee and cookies, hashed out lines, and pitched the pros. We’ve built an amazing community of writers throughout the state, from southern Oregon to Mid-Valley, through Corvallis to the coast, and up to Portland. We are so thankful that you have joined us – it is your support that makes our community stronger.
In the spirit of giving, we want to celebrate with you.
Next week, our Holiday Book Fair begins at Barnes and Noble Clackamas. Proceeds from the Book Fair will go to support Books For Kids, our program that gives a book to read to a child in need.
You can join us on Wednesday for lattes and cheesecake with readers from The Timberline Review, our literary journal. Then, on Thursday, you can meet bestselling member authors. We’ll wrap up the event with a Kids’ Night on Friday, featuring children and middle grade author readings, a scavenger hunt, and arts and crafts.
