Kelly Garrett’s Grounds for Murder was sold as part of a three-book deal to John Scognamiglio at Kensington Books, by Joshua Bilmes at JABberwocky Literary Agency (world English).
In this, the first in the Ground Rules series, a young woman’s budding coffee cart business in a gentrifying Portland neighborhood is threatened when one of her first customers is found murdered in front of her food truck, and she must solve the case to save her business and herself.
