Final Draft Signs On As Official FiLMLaB Sponsor!

logo-finaldraft-rev_lo-resWillamette Writers is excited to announce that screenwriting software giant, Final Draft, has signed on as an official sponsor for the 2015 FiLMLaB Contest!  As such, all eight of our semifinalists have each won a gift certificate for a free downloadable version of Final Draft 9, valued at $250!

“For over twenty years now, Final Draft has shown itself to be the most vital tool available to the screenwriter. Version 9 takes an already superb architecture on to even higher levels, allowing new and very practical ways to organize your workflow. This is not surprising, as Final Draft has consistently strived to innovate and address the concerns of writers working in film.”

Special thanks to Joan Macbeth for her help with this sponsorship.

We’ll be notifying finalists this week as our celebrity judges are putting the final touches on their script notes.

Congratulations to our semifinalists and many thanks to Final Draft for their support!
