Our next YWW meeting will be on October 7, 11am-12pm PT. We can’t wait to have John Shirley join us, online and in-person.
About John Shirley
John Shirley has written novels, short stories, TV scripts, screenplays, lyrics, poetry, songs, and various forms of nonfiction. More than forty of his novels have been published. Many of his 200 or so short stories have been compiled into eight short-story collections. He has also written one historical novel—a western about Wyatt Earp, Wyatt in Wichita, and one non-fiction book, Gurdjieff: An Introduction to His Life and Ideas. As a musician, Shirley has fronted his own bands and written lyrics for Blue Öyster Cult and others.

About Your Chapter Meeting
Willamette Writers meetings are free and open to all writers, 18 and up. Writers are welcome to make a donation to help support the cost of the meeting (we believe in paying our speakers for their time and skills). This meeting is run by volunteers. We look forward to seeing you there!
