One Tool to Rule Them All, Exploring Micro-Arcs in Characterization with Eric Witchey

Award-winning author Eric Witchey will lead this fun audience participation seminar exploring small-scale changes in character and how those small changes aggregate into larger changes that eventually allow the reader to believe in the truth of character arc across the entire story. The seminar will follow one of Mr. Witchey’s back-and-forth seminar program patterns: Isolate Concept, Practice together, Practice alone, Review. Participants will walk away with a set of techniques they can immediately employ in their own work during composition, revision, and polish. They will also receive a comprehensive handout that will allow them to review the concepts once they get home. The presentation begins at 11:30. We can’t wait to see you there!
