Willamette Writers Vancouver Presents
Pitch Practice
This meeting is online-only.
We’re wrapping up another sizzling season at the Vancouver Chapter with a “Pitch Practice” themed meeting! Whether your novel’s ready to pitch (like at the upcoming WW annual conference ), whether you’re deep in multi-draft edits, or whether your project’s still the stuff of dreams, crafting a pitch can help you fine-tune your project’s scope and focus. And practicing delivering that pitch can net you tangible feedback as well as help you learn to shake off any potential jitters.
Join us via Zoom (we’re only online for June) on Monday, June 19 @ 6:15 pm, pitch in hand and ready to share with your supportive WW co-writers. Or if you’re not pitch-ready, come and encourage the folks in the hot seat! Read Zoom Details below and then register here: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZMrdOGprzovGdckP9tCNrQkvqyCI_XixZqP
If you’re new to writing a pitch, you might check out Jane Friedman’s suggestions here, or find some super helpful ideas (including for nonfiction projects) here.
This online meeting only is free for members and non-members, but you must pre-register to get the Zoom link.
We can’t wait to hear what you’ve got!
