Online Southern Oregon: The State of Publishing with Mark Teppo
November 7, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Join us online for a look at the state of the publishing industry in 2022. Mark Teppo, publisher of Underland Press, will chat about the differences between traditional, hybrid, and fully-independent publishing. How have the models changed? How is the industry changing? Once you’ve finished your book, how do you decide which is the best route for you to take? We’ll tell horror stories, discuss pie, and provide a roadmap to help you plan your career. Join your Southern Oregon Chapter online on November 7th at 7PM. Zoom details below.
About Mark Teppo
Mark Teppo is the author of more than two dozen novels that range from historical adventure fiction to urban fantasy, eco-thrillers to mysteries, and horror adventure to experimental psychological thrillers. Once upon a time, he was the showrunner for the Foreworld Saga, which involved a lot of world-building and collaborative writing. His latest effort at subverting genre conventions is to run a publishing company (Underland Press), as well as a magazine (Underland Arcana). He is a synthesist, a trouble-shooter (and -maker), a cat herder, and an idea man. His favorite Tarot card is the Moon.
