We’re delighted to have screenwriter Kari Mote join us to share her experience on making industry connections through contest participation and victories. Kari boasts an impressive seventy-seven accolades, with her family’s dark occult story optioned to ITV Studios, and her work consistently scoring above seventy-five on Slated. As a BIPOC intuitive, Kari writes across genres and formats, crafting female leads that are raw and gritty. Her personal experiences with abuse, trauma, and the occult provide a solid foundation for her storytelling. In addition, Kari frequently collaborates with her daughter, Alana, on various projects.
