Writing Together – A Pass-Around Event For Introverts (Extroverts also Welcome).

Writing is often a solitary act. Alone with our notebooks and computers, we plug away at creating. Something special happens when we write together. Join us in person on Monday, June 24, at 6:30 pm (doors open at 6:15 pm), for a fun, interactive, generative, pass-around writing event, a great way for introverts (and extroverts) to get to know each other better and take home a story start. Since we’ll be passing around stories that build as they make the rounds, we’re going old school and putting pen to actual paper. No computers are needed, just good old handwritten magic! Sharing, and participating in the game, will be optional: you’re welcome to scribble away on your own project while soaking up the room’s creative energy.

This will be our last meeting of this program year. Our next meeting is an in-person Open Mic on Sunday, September 22, 2024, 3:00 – 4:30 p.m., Corvallis Library. (Please note the change in meeting time and location.) Plan on meeting up after the meeting at a local restaurant.
