Five Ways to Grow Your Newsletter with Sarina Dorie

May 4, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Five Ways to Grow Your Newsletter from Zero to Thousands in a Year with Sarina Dorie

For five years, Sarina Dorie’s newsletter was stuck at two hundred. Despite teaching at conferences, giving away free books at reader events, participating in author readings, blog tours, and begging friends to join, few people signed up. And fewer actually read her newsletter. Getting readers by word of mouth was not working.

When Sarina took a friend’s marketing advice, her newsletter skyrocketed to two thousand. From there, it kept going up. Tardy Bells and Witches Spells reached #1 on Amazon multiple times, she found reviewers more easily, superfans volunteered to help her proofread books, people were willing to read the book individually and buy it again in a series bundle, and best of all, people who were not her mother emailed her to tell her they liked her books. When she got to 15,000 subscribers, it was time to “scrub” the list. She trimmed it down to the most devoted readers, found superfans, and ARC readers. Best of all, she started to make money when she had readers to inform about her newest release.

Come to this workshop to find out how YOU can sell more books and build fans before your book is even released. We will be meeting online on Wednesday, May 4th, from 7:00-8:30 PM. Zoom information is below.
