Our special guest in February is award winning director and producer, Michael Robison.

Michael Robison has over 100 directing credits to his name.  His early credits include such television series as 21 Jump Street, Poltergeist: The Legacy (which he also produced), The Outer Limits, Jeremiah, The Dead Zone, Nikita, Eureka, and XIII. More recently he’s directed episodes of Chesapeake Shores, The Originals and Of Kings & Prophets.

In the past few years, Michael has shifted to directing TV movies, and has done over two dozen films for Hallmark, Lifetime and CBS including the highly rated Christmas At Dollywood, co-starring Dolly Parton.  Michael has worked throughout Canada and the US, as well as shooting films in Greece, Bulgaria and South Africa.  

Michael brings his extensive experience to the Happy Hour and will talk about the ins and outs of directing for television, as well as how he works with writers and producers to shape the scripts to get the best results within the confines of the budget and schedule.
