Willamette Writers Corvallis Chapter Presents
Poetry Reader, Writers, Editor, And? Bring All Your Hats
with Rachel Barton
Join the Corvallis Chapter of Willamette Writers in the Oak Room at the Corvallis Community Center, 2601 NW Tyler Ave. from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, October 23 for this fun, interactive workshop with local poet and writing coach Rachel Barton. This in-person-only meeting will be low-tech so bring your pencil and notebook. Participants will read a handful of published poems, select a prompt, and free-write. Then Barton will lead a foray into “editor head” with a ranking of three or four poems. She will wrap up with sharing and discussion.
