Giving Voice to Character with Rosiee Thor
At our first in-person meeting in more than two years, we’ll hear from author Rosiee Thor. In this workshop, you’ll learn all the tools you need to craft a character-rich voice specific to your novel and make your writing stand out with your unique writing style.
About Rosiee Thor
Rosiee Thor began her career as a storyteller by demanding to tell her mother bedtime stories instead of the other way around. She spent her childhood reading by flashlight in the closet until she came out as queer. She lives in Oregon with a dog, a cat, and an abundance of plants. She is the author of Young Adult novels Tarnished Are The Stars and Fire Becomes Her, and the picture book The Meaning of Pride.
Join us from 6:30-8:30 pm on Wednesday, May 11, at Tsunami Books, 2585 Willamette St., Eugene.
Masks are required. No food or drinks will be served.
About your chapter
Willamette Writers meetings are open to all writers, 18 and up. Young writers are encouraged to join our Young Willamette Writers meetings. Guests are welcome to make a donation to help support the cost of the meeting (we believe in paying our speakers for their time and skills). This meeting is run by volunteers. We look forward to seeing you there!
