Evan Morgan Williams’ book of short stories, Thorn, recently won a gold medal in the 2016 Independent Publishers Book Awards (the “IPPY” Awards). Williams’ book is published by BkMk Press (University of Missouri-Kansas City). Set mainly in the West, the stories are realistic fictions about characters making the hard choices of life. Williams will be signing books at the NW Book Festival, July 30th, in Portland.
