FiLMLaB’s Script to Screen Competition Closes at Midnight, March 1, 2014.

Thanks to all of you who came to the Open House last Feb 8 to check out our set location. Whoever wins the FiLMLaB script to screen competition will have his/her script filmed at the Willamette Writers’ Cynthia Whitcomb House in West Linn!

Film projector with FilmLab ad Contest Closes this Saturday night. Payment and script must be in our hands by then. Contact our office manager Bill Johnson if you have any questions about submission process or visit our Submission page for complete rules and guidelines.

Five finalist scripts will be sent to LA to be judged by managers/producers who will be attending the 2014 conference. Winners will be announced in early April.

Ruth Witteried

As Visual Media Director, Ruth Witteried works with all programs based in the visual arts, including screenwriting and film production. As Executive Director of the FiLMLaB competition and project, she produced the 2012 FiLMLaB short, Alis Volat Propriis, winner of the 2013 OIFF Best Comedic Short; 2013′s Coffee.Table.Book.; 2014's Unwelcome Guests, and in 2015, The Return of Bug Eyed Bill. She acted as Film Coordinator for the Willamette Writers Conference from 2011-2013 and occasionally teaches screenwriting at Clark College.
