Authors Joe Ponepinto and Connie Hampton Connally will read from their new novels and discuss them in a joint book signing. Ponepinto’s novel, “Mr. Neutron,” is a funny yet perceptive satire of small-town politics. Connally’s historical novel, “The Songs We Hide,” tells of two singers in communist Hungary creating music to offset unbearable circumstances. The reading takes place at Annie Bloom’s Books in Portland, OR, 7 pm on Thursday, June 21. For more information, see Connie’s website.
