B. Zelkovich has stories to tell. People show up in her head, and then it gets weird.
The last Willamette Writers Cohort, her third, gave B. the time and structure that gets those people onto the page. She came out of it with nearly 40,000 words of a period horror novel, exploring a supernatural event in 1855 pioneer Oregon. Time spent in earlier cohorts yielded a cherished writing community, a writing group that formed after the 2021 cohort, plus three novels and a novella.
B. has progressed on her current speculative fiction novel over the new year and plans to finish in May, then revise in time to pitch at the August WilWrite23. You can find her online at her website or on twitter @BZelwen.
