A panel of small press publishers from Southern Oregon Literary Alliance will discuss various aspects of publishing and take your questions. The panel features:
Ed Battistella: author of Sorry About That: The Language of Public Apology
Tod Davies: author, founder and publisher of Exterminating Angel Press
Midge Raymond: author, co-founder and publisher of Ashland Creek Press
Molly Best Tinsley: author, co-founder and publisher of Fuze Publishing
John Yunker: author, co-founder and publisher of Ashland Creek Press
Afternoon Breakout Sessions:
1:30 – 4:00 p.m. $30.00 for members, $35.00 for guests ($40 for whole day)
Participants can choose any three of these 45-minute sessions with individual publishers:
Writing Your Story with Tod Davies: Learn how to write your story, whether fiction, drama, or screenplays, with these essential tips on structure.
Book Marketing with Midge Raymond: Learn book marketing basics that can fit into your everyday life, from planning events to social media to blogging.
Editing with Molly Best Tinsley: Learn how to develop your inner editor to work on all three levels: developmental, stylistic, and copy editing.
Author Websites with John Yunker: Learn how to develop an author website that works for you, no matter what your skill level or budget.
