Vote for Mary’s stories by May 4
Three short stories by Mary E. Lowd have been nominated for the 2011 Ursa Major Award for Best Short Fiction. The Ursa Major Awards are the furry equivalent of the Hugo Awards, and are designed to recognize excellence in the fields of art and fiction featuring anthropomorphic animals.
Mary E. Lowd is a member of Mid-Valley Willamette Writers and co-chair of the Eugene critique group, The Wordos. She was previously nominated for 2 Ursa Major Awards in 2010 for her novel, Otters In Space, and another short story.
