Writing a novel? Working on a chapbook? Developing scenes for a screenplay? Join the Willamette Writers Author Cohort.

Whether you’re a brand-new writer or a seasoned veteran, the Author Cohort gives you structure, support, and a community of writers to work alongside throughout November.

This year, everything is online. When you sign up, you’ll choose a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday cohort. Your cohort meets once a week, and everyone comes together on Mondays and Fridays.

Your Commitment

You don’t have to attend every meeting. But by signing up, you’re making a commitment to your writing and giving yourself a reason to keep showing up.

If you’ve been wanting to focus in, start a new project, finish a draft, or simply make more time for your writing, this is your chance.

The Weekly Schedule (Pacific Time)

Choose Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday as your regular cohort.
Mondays and Fridays are for everyone. Saturday, join us for coffee online, and Sunday, we write!

Cost

This fundraising cohort supports our free and open to the public year round programming. Sliding-scale pricing gives you a few price options based on what works best for your own budget. The full price of $100 covers the cost of the program, and choosing full price helps Willamette Writers continue offering accessible programming. If $100 isn’t the right fit for you, the $90 or $70 options are there to make the program more accessible.
