I would like to attend your meetings, but the site is a bit lean on details. I know it’s summer, so maybe there just aren’t any for awhile?

I live in Central Oregon and was wondering if there was a chapter there or if I would be part of the Southern Oregon chapter? Thanks!

Hello! I wanted to share some info about an upcoming play that would be of interest to writers. Hoping you can pass it along!

Craterian Performances presents Next Stage Repertory Company’s “Collected Stories” at 7:30 pm Thursday through Saturday, March 20-22, at the Craterian Theater, Medford. Since 1996, this drama by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Donald Margulies has continued to resonate with audiences across the country and the world. The play explores the relationship between novice writer and student Lisa Morrison and veteran short-story author and teacher Ruth Steiner in six powerful scenes over six years. When Lisa uses her knowledge of Ruth’s youthful and devastating affair with a famous poet as material for her own novel, the women must confront the ethics, morality and emotional cost of using another’s life for the purpose of creating a fictional work.

All tickets are $15, available at the Craterian Box Office, 16 S. Bartlett, Medford, online at http://www.craterian.org or by calling 541-779-3000.

Thank you for any help you can provide in sharing this info!

I understand that WW meet on the first Saturday of each month, yes?
Is it possible that I may come to the meeting? I have completed two novels and looking to learn more about writing and hopefully get published before I started pushing up daisies.

Thank you and I hope to hear from you

        M. Richard: SATURDAY, MAY 3RD MEETING CANCELLED for SOUTHERN OREGON WILLAMETTE WRITERS. Tomorrow’s meeting is cancelled. There are too many conflicting events that will create serious parking issues. That and the change of venue make tomorrow’s meeting too challenging to hold. We will try to get Craig to come in October for those of you interested in his workshop. Sorry for the late notice and inconvenience. Our next meeting is on June 7th. A book publishing panel.
