Vancouver Chapter: Open Mic, Social & Book Swap!
The Vancouver Chapter invites you for a fun night of open mic sharing, snacks, and getting to know other local writers. It’s our final meeting before summer break (we’ll be back in September). What better way to celebrate words than by listening to other writers reading their work, sharing some of your own, all accompanied by yummy goodies and coffee? We’ll also have an informal book swap, with any leftover books donated to the Friends of the Three Creeks Library.
To sum up: Join us on Monday, June 9, 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Vancouver’s Three Creeks Library. Doors open at 6:00 pm. You’re invited to bring a favorite snack and surplus books to giveaway if you’d like. To participate in the open mic, please bring a general audience appropriate work, no more than 750 words (5 minutes). Yes, the Reader’s Choice prize is back!! See you June 9!
