About your Portland Chapter

The Portland Chapter of Willamette Writers is an open, caring, and supportive community of writers that meets the first Tuesday of the month (except August and December) at the Willamette Writers Writing Center (3121 S. Moody Ave. in Portland). Our meetings are free and open to the public. We invite authors and industry professionals to speak on writing topics, and we share our work at open mics and critiques. Anyone is welcome to join our community to develop their craft and expand their writing careers.

The Portland Chapter is run by Tracy Hoagland, Bill Johnson, and Katana Redbird.
