Join us for Publishing 101 with Willamette Writers Executive Director, Kate Ristau on September 2nd at the Willamette Writers Writing Center (3121 S. Moody, Portland) from 7-8PM. We’ll discuss publishing paths, from traditional to indie publishing, and what the current publishing landscape looks like today. 

Bring your questions for this in-depth discussion of agents, editors, and the current state of the industry.

About Kate Ristau

Kate Ristau is the President of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association (SFWA) and the Executive Director of Willamette Writers. She is the author of three middle grade series, Clockbreakers, Mythwakers, and Wylde Wings, and the young adult series, Shadow Girl. You can read her essays in The New York Times and The Washington Post. She is the chair of the Tigard Public Library Board of Directors.

Willamette Writers meetings are free and open to all writers. Middle and high school writers are encouraged to join Young Willamette Writers.
