In-Person Corvallis: Open Mic

Join us on September 14, 2025, 3:00–4:30 pm (doors open at 2:45 pm) for an Open Mic at the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library (645 NW Monroe Ave, Corvallis).
Calling all writers! We’d love to hear you read your writing…It’s a gift we give to each other. We share the gift of presence, attention, and support. That’s what Willamette Writers is all about. If you’ve never read your work out loud before, we especially want to encourage you to think about it. An open mic is an easy way to start. All genres are welcome; family-friendly work, no graphic violence, sex, or hate speech.
The event is free and open to all.
About Our Events
Willamette Writers meetings are free and open to all writers. Middle and high school writers are encouraged to join Young Willamette Writers. Attendees are welcome to make a donation to help support the cost of events. If you feel sick, please stay home and join us online. Contact the office if you have any accessibility requests.
