Joy holds a Master of Arts degree in clinical counseling. She completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training in Longmont, Colorado, where she ran her own yoga studio.
Her professional experience ranges from working with children with disabilities to providing therapy in middle schools. She currently assists youth and families in navigating complex local systems that intertwine with plans.
As a traveler, daughter, sister, therapist, yoga teacher, writer, a sometimes lover, and an all-the-time cat cuddler, she offers a unique perspective on life and the ways we thrive.
