Pitch for the Prize

Pitch For The Prize has become a beloved Willamette Writers Conference tradition. On opening night, twelve lucky writers, for the low entry fee of $5, get to pitch their WIP to a panel of agents and industry professionals.

One winner in each room will take home the Grand Prize of the entry fees.

As an added bonus, many past pitchers have also gotten manuscript requests from the members of the judging panel. Come and listen to the feedback the panel gives, so your pitches will be that much stronger all weekend.

We will have four rooms running Pitch for the Prize this year: one for fiction, one for young adult, one for nonfiction, and one for screenplays.
