Catie Hannigan

Catie Hannigan is a poet and visual artist whose work incorporates poetry, typography, installation, and photography, with an emphasis on what is simple and deliberate. She is the founder & director of Meadow, a creative space for women; lgbtqia+; gender non-conforming; and/or BIPOC artists and writers. Catie has been awarded residencies at The Working Library/c3 initiative, Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, Blackfly Writing Retreat, and the Stonecoast Writer’s Conference. She’s the author of forthcoming MOON’S CABIN (dancing girl press 2019), Water Fragments (Tammy Journal 2017), and What Once Was There Is The Most Beautiful Thing (DIAGRAM 2015). She currently teaches poetry at the Independent Publishing Resource Center in Portland, OR.
