KC Cowan and Bill Cooper

KC Cowan has spent most of her career as a journalist, both in television: (KGW and OPB), radio: (KXL and KPAM), and print: SW Post, Brainstorm Magazine. In 2012, she resurrected a fantasy novel she and two friends wrote in college, spent three years editing and re-writing it. Ravenswood published Journey to Wizards’ Keep in 2016, as well as the sequel, The Hunt for Winter in 2017. In addition to writing, KC began narrating audio books, with 15 projects to date and over 4,000 units sold. Her co-presenter, Bill Cooper, spent more than 40 years in radio and television in the northwest, and has also narrated 13 audio books. He also recently completed his autobiography, “Tuned In – A Life on and off the Radio,” which was a finalist and received an honorable mention from the 2018 Oregon Writers Colony contest.

Bill Cooper has spent more than 40 years in radio and television in the Pacific Northwest.  During his career Bill has covered thousands of stories.  A few of note include the eruption of Mt. St. Helens; the Senator Bob Packwood sexual harassment scandal; and the bizarre story surrounding Tonya Harding. Bill has also narrated 13 audio books. He recently completed his autobiography, “Tuned In – A Life on and off the radio” which was a finalist and received an honorable mention from the 2018 Oregon Writers Colony contest.  Besides being an author, Bill is the owner & voice talent at VoiceImage NW providing voice services for clients across the country.  Bill and his wife live in Beaverton, Oregon.  They have two grown daughters and one incredibly adorable granddaughter.
