Member News: McMinnville Short Film Festival Call for Submissions

The McMinnville Short Film Festival is celebrating its 10th year, and submissions are now open for all categories. The festival takes place February 19-21, 2021, presenting 80-85 films of 20 minutes or less from around the world across 3 days.

The MSFF is proud to highlight its new Shawash Ilihi Award for films by Native American filmmakers and / or films that foster understanding of the culture, traditions and contemporary issues of Native Americans. (Shawash Ilihi is a name in Chinook wawa to describe the Grand Ronde Indian reservation and directly translated, it means Indian Land.) Last year, the MSFF partnered with The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde to bring this new category to the festival for films by Native American filmmakers and / or films that foster understanding of the culture, traditions and contemporary issues of Native Americans. Any film submitted in this category has no entry fee.
