YWW Portland & YWW Southern Oregon Chapter Meeting

YWW Portland & YWW Southern Oregon

Young Willamette Writers are young people who love to write.

Young Willamette Writers welcomes any students who are in middle or high school. Some of our YWW  have entered and won contests such as the Kay Snow Writing Award and a National Scholastic Writing Award. Some have been published in magazines such as American Girl and Stone Soup. Some are taking their first steps in writing. 

Young Willamette Writers currently offers programming online, via Zoom. If the CDC and Oregon Healthy Authority deem it safe to do so, our Portland and Southern Oregon YWW groups will reconvene in-person in September, 2021.

Our virtual YWW June 4th meeting (10-11 am PDT) will be an opportunity to share your work in progress. Attendees may read or come to listen! If reading, please bring both a 5 and 10-minute piece of work to share depending on available time.
Young Willamette Writers monthly meetings are free of charge.

About your chapter: 

Young writers are encouraged to join our Young Willamette Writers meetings.

We meet the first Saturday of the month, September to June (unless otherwise indicated).  Any high school or middle-grade writers are welcome to join us. Sign up for our email list at: http://eepurl.com/hRubBf
