We’re closing out a school year at the Portland Young Willamette Writers, and saying goodbye to a few faces we’ve grown fond of as students graduate and move on. This will be a meeting of hanging out, enjoying the company of fellow writers, and cheering each other’s accomplishments.

First off, everyone who chooses to can share a page or two of their writing, hopefully some of which will go into our second annual YWW Journal. We’ll also do some writing together – and who knows what the prompt will be this time!

Any student, age 13-18, is welcome to join us. There is no charge and no registration, just a check-in form for a parent to fill out. We hope to see you at 7:00 at the Old Church on SW 11th and Clay in downtown Portland. If you miss us this month, we’ll see you in September!
